Is GoatLab free to play?

Yes. Every game runs in your browser with no download and no payment. An optional account saves your builds, and optional extras exist, but the games themselves are free.

How do I cancel GoatLab Pro?

Go to goat-lab.app/cancel, sign in, and tap Cancel my subscription. Or open the Store, tap GoatLab Pro, then Cancel subscription. You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for and you are not charged again. Stuck? Email matt@goat-lab.app and we will cancel it for you.

Which positions can I build?

Ten: quarterback, running back, wide receiver, tight end and O lineman on offense, D lineman, linebacker, cornerback and safety on defense, and kicker on special teams, each with its own attributes and its own career stat lines. The daily challenge rotates through quarterback, running back and wide receiver on a three-day cycle.

Where do the ratings come from?

Player attributes come from Madden NFL 26 ratings, plus hand-rated retired legends. GoatLab is not affiliated with EA Sports or the NFL.

Can my player go undrafted?

Yes. Weaker builds slide to day three or out of the draft entirely — undrafted free agents can get cut in camp, or beat the odds and become one of the great draft steals.

How to Play

Pick a position: QB, RB, or WR. Then build an NFL star one body part at a time.

Spin the reel. It stops on a random Madden NFL 26 player.
Assign that player to one of the 9 body parts. Each part is an attribute (a QB's Arm Power, a RB's Break Tackle, a WR's Hands) and the slot takes that player's rating for it.
Fill every part to finish your player and reveal their Overall rating. Card colors show how strong a player is, from grey up to diamond, with purple for retired NFL legends.
Simulate NFL Career: hear your name called on Draft Night, then play the pro career out season by season: MVPs, All-Pro nods, Super Bowls, and a shot at Canton.
Name your player and post them to the leaderboard.

Power-ups

You get one of each per run.

Re-spin: toss the current player and spin for a new one.
Boost: upgrade the current player to their Prime version with stronger ratings, then assign them.
Snag: grab the player one spot to the left or right of where you landed.

📊 What matters most

Your Overall is a weighted average · each position has three premium slots (1.2×):

QB	Short, Mid & Deep Accuracy count extra · Arm Power, Poise, Football IQ are strong seconds.
RB	Speed, Break Tackle & Vision count extra · Burst, Elusiveness, Power are strong seconds.
WR	Hands, Speed & Routes count extra · Release, In Traffic, Spectacular are strong seconds.
1.0×	Frame · pure height, no cap benefit, a safe spot for a weaker card.

Free agency and the twilight call are always in. Three adds the rivalry. Five adds the story beats and the injury call. More decisions means more pauses, not bigger swings.
