How to Play

Build the ultimate skater, one body part at a time.

  1. Spin the reel. It stops on a random NHL player.
  2. Assign that player to one of the 9 body parts. Each part is an attribute like Sniping, Playmaking, Defense, or Motor, and the slot takes that player's rating for it.
  3. Fill every part to finish your skater and reveal their Overall rating. Card colors show how strong a skater is, from grey up to diamond, with purple for legends.
  4. Simulate Career to play out their seasons and see if they reach the Hockey Hall of Fame.
  5. Name your skater and post them to the leaderboard.

Power-ups

You get one of each per run, so spend them wisely.

  • Re-spin: toss the current player and spin for a new one.
  • Boost: upgrade the current player to their Prime version with stronger ratings, then assign them.
  • Snag: grab the player one spot to the left or right of where you landed.

Tip: your strongest players do the most good on Sniping, Playmaking, and Defense.

📊 What matters most

Your Overall is a weighted average · these slots count extra, best first:

1.2×Sniping, Playmaking, Defense · goals, apples, and stopping them. Best ratings here.
1.1×Motor, Clutch, Hockey IQ · strong seconds. Motor also drives ice time and career length.
1.0×Shot Power, Physicality, Frame · Frame is pure height: a 6'7" tower rates in the 90s, a 5'9" waterbug sits in the 40s.
