About College Baseball Lab
College Baseball Lab is a free browser game where you build a college baseball star at one of
two positions, pitcher or hitter, from the real 2026 statistics of Division I players. Spin the
reel, assign each player you land on to an attribute, and finish the build to reveal your Overall.
Then the career begins with Commitment Day: pick your school from three hats, earn a star rating, and
play out three to five college seasons. Chase the Golden Spikes Award, run the Road to Omaha through the
regional, the super regional and the College World Series, and make choices along the way: NIL deals,
position battles, the transfer portal, and whether to sign after your junior year or come back.
When college is done you can keep going: Draft Night sends your player into the MLB Draft, where the
second act plays out with its own statistics, awards and a shot at Cooperstown, or a bus ride that never ends.
Frequently asked questions
Is GoatLab free to play?
Yes. Every game runs in your browser with no download and no payment. An optional account saves your builds, and optional extras exist, but the games themselves are free.
Do I need an account?
No. You can play, post scores and take on the daily challenge as a guest. Signing in with Google just saves your players to a personal Hall of Fame and carries your progress between devices.
Which positions can I build?
Pitcher and hitter, each with its own attributes and its own career simulation. The daily challenge alternates between the two.
Can my player go to the majors?
Yes. After the college career ends, an optional pro continuation runs Draft Night and plays out the professional career, including MVP and Cy Young awards, World Series titles and Hall of Fame consideration.
